Yes, the add-on can search within HTML tags in the "content" block and through other 3rd party blocks too. If a 3rd party plugin uses placeholders, that works too just like any other text.

This is where you can choose if you want to exclude HTML and attributes from the search process.
Just to be extra safe, it's a good idea to make a backup of the site MySQL database before using this tool (at least for the first few times). Although it's got a built-in rollback feature, it always pays to be extra cautious when making large-scale changes to a site.
