Button Distance

Permalink Browser Info Environment
PLEASE FIX: My main gripe is the visual design and email constraints. Email field length should have specific values, not padding or margins. Second is the distance the button sits to the text field, why is it so far? To a user, it looks like a rookie designed it and it's just poor design.

Also, the email message has predefined spacing that's another element of poor design. I never want constraints with email. It should work like Gmail if you're looking at best practices.

I hate software that's poorly designed even more so when you pay for it. I hope these complaints can make the app better and you're open to feedack.

Hi,

First, thank you for the feedback, but just saying that it's poor design doesn't make it better.
You can create a own design by creating a new template. Or you need to show me how you would like it... Then I'll see if it's manageable and is something that helps us all.

Best,

I'm sorry. My message was mean. I was frustrated with the basic functionality not performing how I expected it to work. I do appreciate your response. Here are the areas of improvement:

1. Button distance is too far from the form. See image 1
Unbounce.com has a good distance. On my site it's too far and I played around with padding and margin controls in Concrete5 without a solution. The button should be half the distance to the form.

2. Email: Signature area
Spacing is predefined to be 1.5 or wider. Spacing should be 0. Let users control the distance between text. The spacing makes the page longer and looks unprofessional for the industry I'm in.

I hope you can make these improvements.

Thank you!
Andy

Hi Andy,

The button distance can be set in your template.
It's a default bootstrap theme. So that should be no problem.

The letterspacing is something you can do yourself when creating an email.
Just use CTRL+ENTER to place text just under the line above.

There is nothing I can do. It's just basic theming and texteditor.

Best,
