About translation PO/MO
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
We have translated the package to danish. But I have discovered that a lot of strings is placed inside the cookiesDisclosure.js file, and by that the translation by po/mo files will not work because of the missing t() functions.
Examples:
disclosure += epdAppsDisclosure + ' To find out more about cookies on this ';
disclosure += 'website, see our <a style="color:#ca0000;font-weight:bold;font-family:arial;font-size:12px;" href="';
disclosure += epdPrivacyPolicyUri + '">privacy policy</a>.<br/><br/>';
disclosure += '<div id="epdnotick" style="color:#ca0000;display:none;margin:2px;"><span style="background:#cecece;padding:2px;">You must tick the "I accept cookies from this site" box to accept</span></div>'
disclosure += 'I accept cookies from this site <input type="checkbox" name="epdagree" id="epdagree" /> ';
disclosure += '<input type="submit" name="epdsubmit" id="epdsubmit" value="Continue"/><br/><br/></div></div>';
Please advice....!

So, a year has gone by, and now that i have found this thread, i would be interested if there already is a solution for multilingual sites?
We never got an answer! Only way is to hard code the translation!
First off, this is the first time we've seen this thread. Hopefully you guys know enough about us to know we wouldn't intentionally blank you on something like this. I apologise for the fact we missed it, however it happened.
Secondly, I'm looking at the source of the current version now, and there don't appear to be any hard coded strings. It's all passed from the block's database table. Looks like this happened in 1.0.3 in August 2013.
Version 1.0.3 released 16 August 2013
=====================================
- Issue upgrading to 5.6.2 for some people. Added wrapper to prevent
- Javascript strings wrapped for translation
Try grabbing that package, if you can't get it for whatever reason let me know
Best

Cool, thanks a lot!
Hi Ollie,
Happy to see that you got around to think about translation. I will look in to this for a Danish translation shortly.
