Two quesstions

Guys

A couple of questions if I may:

1. I note you say this goes into the Tracking Codes section. Does this mean any tracking codes already there will not work? Your description seems to imply this.

2. My customer wants this to pop up for European only customers as he has a large US presence, Are you able to offer and customisation work to allow this to happen please? If so how much would be it be please?

Hi Ian

Re the first question, basically, any tracking codes that are pasted into the core concrete5 facility, should be moved to the tracking codes section of the cookies add-on. This allows them to be held back until cookies accepted. So any add-ons that might set cookies themselves such as Google Analytics can be prevented from doing so if cookies not accepted. Obviously this can mess with your site stats, but the facility is there.

Re second question, we can probably look at that. We charge a min of $100 for customisation projects, and $50 per hour beyond 2 hours.

We would first need to understand your clients preference for determining IP - a paid service, which is more reliable/robust, or something free. If your client has a high traffic site a paid service would be desirable, in which case we can advise on services which offer the information we'd need.

Hope that helps.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the late response as have been discussing requirements. Anyway my customer Kelverion would like to go ahead with customising this add-on as outlined above.

Can you let me know what you'd like please in terms of site access. C5 admin and/or ftp access?

If you can reply using your private email I can then send what you need safely together with a details specification of the work required.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours

Hi Ian

We may not need site access, it's just a matter of providing a custom package - that will drop into their concrete5 environment.

If you can reply with the requirements & info re type of service required via PM we can go from there.

Best

Hi Ollie,

Thanks for getting back to me. Right we need the following forhttp://www.kelverion.com:

1. A Cookie warning pop up that appears when a visitor visits the site. Visitors in the US and Canada only should not see it. Visitors from other locations in the world can see it. A free IP determining service is required.

2. We will provide some custom text for the pop up

3. The pop up should appear along the bottom of the site. The example was given was:http://www.debenhams.com

That's it.

If we use ian@radiuswebdesign.com for further correspondence that would be good. Any further questions please email me otherwise if you could give me an idea of when you might be able to look at this I can keep my customer informed.

Btw where are you located?

Yours

Will use that email going forwards - thanks. Re requirements 2 & 3 they are already handled by the package, so it looks like its just a matter of us implementing IP testing.

Likely we can look at this first thing next week.

We're based near Liverpool - UK.
