Change of Owner

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi

It is possible to change the owner of a document? We're trialling this add-on on an intranet site. One of our IT staff will be using it to bulk upload a number of documents into the site, however future updates and changes will be done by other staff around our organisation.

Ideally we'd like the ability to change the owner so that our IT staff member isn't see to own all of the documents. Is this possible?

Also, is it possible to display the owner's actual name instead of their username?

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your email. When a file is upload it is automatically tagged with that the name of that user, I don't believe you can change this - this is concrete5 functionality and not the add-ons.

As this is a built in attribute in concrete5 there is no way to use a persons name instead of the username not without customising the entire add-on and or install. An alternative here would be to possibly turn off the 'user' meta from the block interface and then append the persons name to the bottom of the description.

Thanks
