Form Data Issue

Permalink Browser Info Environment
If your form seems to otherwise work but is not recording data in the dashboard, try this:

0. Test this URL to make sure it is accessible:
http://www.YOURSITE.com/packages/forms_with_paypal_payment/blocks/f...
(replace YOURSITE and .com with your info, and add any necessary sub-directories to get to concrete5 folder)
(make sure you get the whole thing (concrete5 forum might cut it short here))
1. Log into your paypal account on paypal.com
2. Go to Profile -> More Options
3. My Selling Tools -> Instant Payment Notifications -> Update
4. "Choose IPN Settings"
5. For "URL" put the url from step #0
6. Set "Receive IPN messages (Enabled)"
7. Press "Save"

If you can't get step #0 to work. Try to change the permissions of the folders leading up to the ipn_listener.php file to be 755, and then make ipn_listener.php be 644.

Hi,

Our form does not record data.... I saw info in the forums below and cannot access any files in that directory.

What file do you need to access?

Concrete 5 always reports file not found when try to access.

Is their a text file recording the data?

What should we do?

Thanks,
Marc

I have been experiencing a similar issue - were you able to resolve this at all?

Resolved by replacing the ipn_listener.php file from a previous backup. Somehow, the file size had changed. As soon as I replaced the file, things started working again.

I am having a similar issue. The ipn_listener.php file is not loading; I get a 'page not found'.

* If I change the file extension to .txt, it loads fine.
* If I copy the code into test.php and attempt to hit that file, it doesn't load
* If I add
die('happy');
at the top, it doesn't load
* If I hit the view.css file in the same directory, it loads fine.
* Directory permissions for folder and folders above are 777. File permissions are 644.

My client is getting an email from PayPal regarding this issue and they would like it fixed soon. Any help is appreciated.
