Multiple Instances Not Supported

Permalink Browser Info Environment
This add-on appears not to support multiple instances on a single page. Hence it can't be used effectively with the likes of the Area Splitter add-on e.g. put the Gallerific add-on onto multiple tabbed pages using the Area Splitter.

I would like to see this add-on support multiple instances on a page and in particular work with the Area Splitter add-on.

When I first built the add-on, I considered weather multiple instance support would be required and skipped over it. But this can be quickly added. I'll work on this and have a new version ready tomorrow. Will post an update on this thread once the new version is in the marketplace.

I have just uploaded v1.1 of the Gallerific add-on, which now supports multiple instances. You can download it via your C5 "My Account" > "Licences" page.

Here's also an example of multiple instances on the same page:

I pulled out the CSS & JS file from the view.php (it was being loaded automatically anyway), so it should work ok with the Area Splitter block and Layout feature.

Yes that works ok. Once again, thanks for the great support.

I have only one very minor observation. When using Gallerific (V1 and V1.1) with the Area Splitter add-on the gallery appears part inside and part outside the Area Splitter block boundary. When I use any other gallery add-ons all their components appear inside the Area Splitter block boundary line. I have attached screen-shots of both examples. I guess this is a css issue. Its not that important but would be nice to correct.

Yes, you'll need to place a "clear" below the block (easiest just to use the "HTML" block and add the following code:

<div style='clear:both;'></div>

But I'll build this into the view.php file so the next version will include this automatically. In the meantime, the process for manually adding a "clear" (above) will work fine.

Great, that worked a treat. Once again thanks for the terrific support. Best $15 I have spent in a long time.
