New Horizons: Information for the Air Travelers with a Disability (PDF). Prepared by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Hello, I'm trying to configure the gallery add-on and I've come across issues. I've created a new test gallery and uploaded a few images to the gallery. I've gone into the test gallery that I created under Manage Galleries/Images and set a featured image. The problem is when I try to add the GalleryES gallery block to the page it just displays a link, not the featured image, the link does however direct me to the gallery page, but i'd like the featured image appear.
Also, another question, is there any that I can link to a gallery page from a link on the page? I'm just confused on where I would get the url for the gallery page. Any help would be great.
Thank you,

Hello Emirii,
Thank you so much for the quick response. I now understand how to get the
url for the gallery.
So I've created a file set / gallery for the project that I'm working on,
Now when the user clicks on the link which leads them to the gallery is
there any way that I could display a title on the page. For example say
that a user clicks on a link "Baton Rouge" which would then bring them to
that gallery I'd like to display Baton Rouge as the title of the page in an
h1 or an h2 tag. I've tried to give the Gallery a description and that
still doesn't do anything. So I was wondering if there was an alternative
solution?
Thanks
-Thomas

Hi Thomas,
I have actually integrated that feature into my C5.7 version! Luckily, it is not very hard to do, so I'll integrate it into my C5.6 version as well. Please give me a day or two to make these changes for you!
You will have the ability to display the title and description of the gallery on the single page using options. Thanks!

Hi there, please update to version 1.60! To activate the title and description display, head on over to the "Single Page Options" page in the dashboard and check the two boxes "Display Title" & "Display Description".
Did the images start working on the gallery block? If not, you can PM me the URL if you would not like it public. Thanks!

You should make sure your Concrete5 install is connected to your concrete5.org account, and make sure the GalleryES license is installed on your now connected Concrete5 install. Then you should be able to see updates from my add-on! Also you should attach your other add-ons to receive update from those as well!
You can find a guide here:

Emirii,
Is there any way that you could sent me the zip file. Basically what
happened is the client that I'm working for purchased this add-on so I
don't have the license, I installed the add-on via FTP > Packages. My site
is connected to the community but since I don't have the license I can't
make the update to the newest version.
Thanks,
Thomas.

As for linking to a gallery in a content block, you can use URL like this:
http://yourgallery.com/gallery/?id=36...
(Don't include the ellipses ... C5 added that)
"36" would be the gallery ID, meaning the file set ID. You can get the file set ID various ways:
View all your filesets in GalleryES manager, the first column displays the file set number (easiest way):
/dashboard/gallery_e_s/manage/
"Edit" the file set in the File Manager, the file set ID displays in the URL:
/dashboard/files/sets/view_detail/36/
So far the 5.6 version is pretty old, so hasn't been updated as much as the 5.7 version of the add-on, but I would like to fix the thumbnail issue on the gallery block for you!
Thanks!
