Does the 2.4.6 resolve the php 7.2 'countable' incompatibility ?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am using 2.4.5 on a Concrete 8.4.3. When I run the Gallery under PHP 7.1.23 things appear to function properly. HOWEVER, when I flip the switch over PHP 7.2 the Gallery generates an error regarding some countable problem. Sorry can't be more precise...

So if I roll back to the PHP 7.1.23 - things begin working properly again...

I noticed you referenced that the 2.4.6 was compatible ( or more compatible ) with the PHP 7.2. Would 2.4.6 remedy the incompatibility I am seeing when running Gallery 2.4.5 under PHP 7.2

And is there some special thing that I need to do to get this upgrade from my present 2.4.5 to this 2.5.6 ? The update has never appeared or been offered on my Concrete main page as being available to update ?

Hi,
Yes, the 2.4.6 fixed the issues which emerged in PHP 7.2.
Regarding your second question. I don't think you should do anything. Going to update section in the dashboard, you should be able to upgrade to latest version. And you can always upgrade manually by downloading the add-on and override it at /package/ folder.
