Add Block "choose a file" button do not display (and other controls)

I've got a new bug. We've been using HTML5 Audio Player for a while and have had no issues. I love the simplicity of it too.
For context, I just recently updated to concrete5 8.4.4 and have had a slew of kinks that needed to be worked out. Additionally, our dreamhost server automatically updated us to php 7.1 and I finished the job taking us to 7.2.
The attached file shows the new issue. When go to add an HTML5 Audio Player block to a page, any page, the "choose a file" buttons for both primary and secondary sources do not display. Nor do the controls for default audio levels.
I've attempted to refresh the package from the dashboard and I've also uninstalled it and reinstalled it manually (a successful solution I performed for another package that was having issues) and both were to no avail.
Is there something else I should try?
