IE 8.0. and display issues

Hi,

When viewing my site in IE8.0.7601.17514 what is one line of navigation becomes two - AND - the login and copyright information in the footer does not display.

Works great in Safari, Chrome, Firefox. No bugs reported in Firefox.

Any suggestions?

Is this with a calendar displayed or the list?
