I don't think there will be a new version, I'm sorry. I had trouble getting concrete 9 to work and getting a higher php version installed on my laptop. It is a Windows system and that's just not very good for web development. The amount of work that goes in to keeping up with all the new Concrete versions simply doesn't way up to the few dollars I make with my add-ons.
Also, the problem with this add-on is that for me to be able to test it I need valid email servers setup and free testing accounts for all the services like Sendgrid. And now some of these companies only offer subscriptions which would cost me more money than I earn with the add-on.
I hope you can find an alternative. I think you can also configure smtp settings for these services in Concrete 5.
