Transactional Emails
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,
I have installed the plugin and everything seems to be working.
However, I have a question about the transactional email configuration.
Is it possible once a user has filled out a form and hit submit for them to receive a transaction template email from sendgrid? (By adding the templates id to an attribute)
The only information I'm needing to capture is the email address for sendgrid to know where to send. The template is just a "next steps" email.
Just wanted to know if you could point me in the right direction on how to make this work or if there was already a work around and i'm missing it.

Thanks for your question. This is currently not possible. The problem is that I support several transactional email services and they all have different features and quite a lot of features as well. Because they all have a common interface within the add-on and Concrete5, it's hard add and maintain custom functionality. At this point this addon is already a relatively high maintenance add-on as it is.
I will have a look into whether I can provide some sort of hook for all services that allows you to inject extra data before sending but this would still require you to have some programming knowledge in order to implement this.
