Columns question
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have a client whose has, at minimum, 51 sub-pages on three main nav menu items. They want those pages to be broken out into columns.
My first solution was to order them alphabetically and have the 4-column dropdown show A-E, F-L, etc. with the numerous sub-pages listed in their appropriate columns. They don't want the URL to have a-e, f-l, etc. for google indexing.
Is there a way to make the menu 4 or 5 columns without having to do the A-E, etc.?

I have, and that was my initial solution, but they're not sure how it will index with Google. Plus, the URL still has the A-E, etc. in the address bar.
I'd suggest integrating several a stacks into the submenu using the "Extended Menu" tab in the editor interface. The upside is you have complete control of the contents of the submenu. The downside is each time a page name/link is changed, you'll need to manually edit that in the scrapbook.

Have you tried adding url via the Page Properties > Page Paths and Location > More Urls?http://screencast.com/t/OyQYRBM5e... you can specify your urls there and remove the letters manually.
Hope that helps.
