Mega Menu and Theme Slate does not work

Hi,
I purchased the Mega Menu addon. It's not working. It is not dropping down at all.
I have tried -- with no succes -- to fix this problem using the solutions in the video that was recommended fora simular problem:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBDw8uYk048&feature=youtube_gdat... .
Can you please tell me what to do? I am not a very experienced developer so please give me detailed instructions.

Have you tried removing the theme's dropdown menu? It looks like it's conflicting with it.
If you can remove it and add the Mega Menu in let me know so I can investigate starting there.

I have tried removing the theme's dropdown menu as displayed in the video, but Slate is not organized that way. Therefore that is no option. The autonav is not a block you can delete as other blocks. See attachment.
I am not certain enough of my skills to remove things more drasticaly, like removing things files in FTP.

What is your site URL were this block was installed?
Can you provide dashboard login via Private Message?
