When is the html minified?

My application contains blocks that access large amounts of text content from a database. Does this program minify the html before or after the calls to the database? I.e. are you basically minifying the page that gets cached?

The minifier runs just before the page is outputted. It hooks into the concrete5 event "on_page_output'. So generally speaking that would be after blocks retrieve data from the database.
