Sitemaps and Google Webmaster
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi
I'm a bit confused about creating separate sitemap.xml for each domain. I've followed the instructions in the docs, but going to thehttp://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml yields a 404 error - no sitemap is dynamically generated. Consequently when adding sitemaps to Webmaster it can't find it and throws an error.
Is there something wrong with my site structure? Do I need to change permissions on httpdocs folder. Do I need to disable/re-enable Pretty URLs? Not sure what to do.
Many thanks
Si

I'm starting to think it might be the server. Testing this on my local environment seems to work... Anything I need to check?

Hello there!
This might be related to your server setup. If it's possible, we could investigate your environment in more detail in order to find out the underlying reason for this.
You can PM our account the credentials to your environment for debugging.
We have tried this on our testing environments and it works fine.
Best,
Antti / Mainio
