Scrolling Speed/ Transition Time

Hi when trying to change the transition time the news stops being displayed. When there is not time set it works as normal. How can I slow the speed down, I have tried entries such as 5 assuming this would be 5 seconds. Any help would be appreciated.

did you ever get this to work?
We are still using this add on but are still unable to change the speed of the scrolling message.
Thank you. I had to abandon it - it is way too fast for my purpose.
I was having the same problem and tried something crazy. use your time in 1000. so for approx 3-5 seconds i used 5000 and it worked great. however i did use 10000 and it has completely stopped scrolling.
