so far all pictures rotating in nivo slider have to have the exact same measurments...
It would be fantastic to be able to use nivo slider as a slideshow tool for pictures of different dimensions...
If I use different sized pictures you always see the other photos "under" the current one...
Is there an easy fix in CSS for this?

No. Due to the way slide transitions work you can not hide the images are below.
That said, I might add that functionality to crop images that have all the same size. But this is probably not what you want ..
