Blank edit window (with Pic Monkey 1.02 + Concrete 5.6.3.4)
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, we have updated to the latest Pic Monkey 1.02 (https fix) but this only shows a blank edit window (this was "page not found" with older 1.01). I have tried the fix suggested on forum with version 1.01 + $strPicmonkeyProtocol = 'https';) but without success.
Advice appreciated.

Hi, I would need some details. Could you contact me in private to give me some infos on the website ? Thank you !
Has there been any development on this issue?
I am also getting it on many of my websites.

I can't help without more details, as it is specific to some people and hosting. Generally, some hosts are disabling the communication between Picmonkey's servers and their servers (just a configuration setup for security purposes). It is a known issue and contacting directly the host technical staff and explaining the issue solves the problem.
Hi!
My client had the same issue (only a blank screen), without errors... Turns out it's an error thrown when calling PicMonkey with curl over SSL, I don't know what changed over at PicMonkey since it used to work, but the fix I did put in place was the following:
Edit: /elements/files/edit/image.php, find $ch = curl_init(); and add the following under this line:
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false);
I know this might not be the most secure way to fix this issue, but it's an easy way ! For those who would rather read more on this specific issue and fix it the right way here you go :http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6400300/https-and-ssl3-get-serve...
I will let the plugin developer choose how/if he would like to implement this fix :)
Have a good one !
