Showing slider jquery and style in slides

I have used this before and it's worked great but this time around it's showing the script tag and the style tag as part of the slides which is weird. I'm guessing this is a bug in a release.

I'm trying to get this done so I just used the standard slideshow block on one page but ill try it on another page and send you a link.

This is caused by javascript that you added to the theme.
take that out.
$('#slideshow').cycle({ fx: 'scrollRight' // choose your transition type, ex: fade, scrollUp, shuffle, etc... });
take that out.
