Exporting blogposts for transfer to new site

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Is it possible to create a backup of the blog posts?

I am moving a site to a different server but the live site is very active with new posts every day.

Is there a way to export or backup the blog posts only and then import them to the new site? I don't mind if it has to be done using the database via sql commands. I'm just trying to avoid having to re-import the whole database again and we've made changes to area's of the site.

Many thanks,
