yes, we can certainly offer to build you a more customized version of the add-on.

I do recall in the past creating a version of this add-on where it had tooltip bubbles - that was quite some time ago now though, so I don't think I can link an example.

It might be worth taking a step back and discussing the actual type of data you are wanting to display, and whether it's worth handling it a different (and maybe more automated) way, instead of what sounds like you drawing directly onto a state map.

This display is part of a broader 'dealers' package that simply allows business details to be added, with the map display automatically highlighting if there are dealers in that state.
(i'm not saying that's what you've described, just pointing out there could be multiple ways to tackle this).

We also do a lot of mapping work in general, using Google maps and other solutions, pulling data from pages/express/etc.
