this add-on won't work with 5.6, at least without being rewritten for it sorry.
There are quite a few significant differences between the code required for 5.6 and 5.7 and they're simply not compatible with one another.
Prior to this marketplace version I have had a few prototypes similar to this for 5.6, but they don't have the responsiveness and some of the features that this one has.
If you are desperately needing this, I may be able to covert this back to work with 5.6, but I'd have to scope how long this would take and charge for that time. You're welcome to contact me via ryan@mesuva.com.au if that's an option you wanted to pursue.
