Hello wasabili, I am the Save Area to PDF add-on, and I just tried it with eCommerce this morning. I added it to the Main area on my product list page and it successfully grabbed all the content from the area. I also use the product Callout feature, and did notice Save Area to PDF also grabbed this "hidden" information as well, so it may not do entirely what you're looking for depending on how your products are displayed.
With this plugin I went for quick and easy, so it's not really great at handling CSS positioning and the like. It's free, so certainly give it a shot -J

Hi jstrong
Wow, cool thanks for the test :-)
Do you know if it is possible in the list view from the eCommerce add-on to save a PDF for every Produkt? Or will it save the hole list?

I think the forum ignored my reply through email because I added several attachments. Here is the original text, and I have attached the documents to the post.

Well, what I did was to go to my main store page, and added Save Area to PDF in the same area where I have the Product List block (the Main area). When I clicked Save as PDF, I got a PDF of all of the products in one file. The problem was that since I have that Callout turned on (when you hover over a Product and a box pops up with extended information) that also got stored in the PDF. Here's an example (if you don't see the PDF attached send me your email address and I'll send it to you). Basically it shows every item (Thumbnail, price, select fields, Add to cart button, and even the busy indicator unfortunately), and right below every item it shows its extended Callout information (Large image, and description).
I think if you don't use the Callout, that wouldn't appear, and you'd just have your normal product list info. Below the PDF, I also attached a screen shot of that same page and what it actually looks like, and then another of what it looks like while hovering, with the callout displayed.

Ohhh great thank you for the images. That helped a lot.
How did you managed to add a css to the PDF? I tried with print.css but that didn't worked …

OK, I think I've got to do some tricky part since I don't want all the products in the PDF. Like adding to a basket I just want one PDF of one product. Well I keep trying ;-)

Well like I said, you can also add the PDF block to the Product-specific page and that would create one PDF of one product. Good luck, yeah I've actually gotten several comments about it ignoring print.css, as time allows I'll look into what it takes to support that. Right now it just calls up what's in the database and renders that to PDF without checking for alternate styling.
