Get Blank Page

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Added the block to an area (main), saved the edit and tried the button. Just sent me to a blank page. Logged out and tried it again, same result. Must be a trick I'm missing somewhere.

Hello Delbert - what type of blocks do you have above the control?

Are you using a standard page type or a custom one?

Have you tried just using a standard page type with a simple Content block to see if it renders appropriately?

Let me know! -J

Thanks for the quick reply. Here's my test page:
http://www.klipnow.com/index.php/money/money-basics/...

The page type is standard (right column) and the blocks above it are content blocks. I'll play around with some blank pages like you suggested. Just trying to get a handle on the best way to stay out of trouble.

Do you know which version of concrete5 you're using? It has to be 5.4 or greater.

Is the page currently in Edit mode?

It looks like it's having trouble accessing the page behind the scenes, so I'm just trying to narrow down where the problem could be. I should have some time to look at this early tomorrow. Thank you for your patience - I'll get it sorted out.

If you don't mind my asking, are you a developer by chance? Have you accessed any of the concrete5 folders directly before? - I only ask because it may help troubleshooting if I sent you a block to install for testing.

Also, is your block's area named 'Outer+Bottom' ? Trying to duplicate on my end.

Yes, that block on the test page is called ''outer-bottom'', it is from the theme called MODULO. It has a ton of block styles to use.

I also tried adding the PDF block on the home page (klipnow.com) in the MAIN area. Same result.

I can upload directly to C5 folders, I usually use the cPanel. I'll slightly edit a css file or template using that method. I'm pretty careful because I barely know what I'm doing, so make a backup first, then edit. But at at least I can move around in the files area OK.

Be happy to give you the login info via PM if you need it. Hate for you to spend too much time on something that might just be an odd quirk. Thanks for your help.

Yeah if you're comfortable doing that that could certainly speed things up. You could put all the basic details here, and if you like send a temporary password separately to:

jstrong@transmarine.org

Yeah I really don't mind - this is my first add-on, and if one person is having an issue many others could be too. Thanks! -J

If you're providing me your cPanel info, then having an admin login for c5 would be great too - then I can just add a test page, etc... -J

Me too. I was so thrilled when I found this add-on and I get the same result as the others.
