Hey fastcrash,

thanks for your feedback. I will keep the send button in mind. It might me a useful addition. On the other hand I also don't want to clutter the addon with too much "stuff".

If other users have an opinion about this - I'd be happy to hear it.

Hello,

Thank you for an excellent addon! After the facebook highjack of just about every website with a like button, that shows how important something like this is, far beyond the privacy standpoint.

That being said, I think this can be used in several ways to not only protect privacy, but install mechanisms for scripts to be more user friendly. If this can be used to enable/disable any stack/block, and possibly switch two stacks/blocks for another that would be awesome.

I hoped to use this for initially disabling facebook comments for my site with a click to enable, same functionality as now. Thinking about it I feel there could be a greater use. Some examples: Someone has ads on their page and the user not only hates ads but doesnt want to be tracked. So the site owner could a block with an ability to disable the ads and show a donate block instead. Another may be to enable spoiler alerts for movie reviews. And so many other possibilities.

Hi Eric,

I'm glad that the addon seems to be useful to me.

I see that it might be useful to toggle all kinds of blocks with a switch. But I think this functionality is generally very easy to implement using jQuery and thus is not really closely connected to SSP. I'd suggest to use a cumstom template for the block that you want to toggle. Does that make sense?

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the reply. That makes perfect sense. I didn't even know the possibilities of that type of functionality within jQuery until after you pointed it out. I did some research and have hopefully found a solution.

Thanks again!
