You can set the caption of the photos for this gallery by using the "description" property in the file manager. These captions only show up when the lightbox is zoomed out, though, so if you need to display text under the thumbnails themselves, then unfortunately this gallery won't help.

I unfortunately don't have much time these days to modify this gallery, but at some point in the future I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to add the option to display the image titles underneath each thumbnail.

Thanks for the tip about using the "Description" property for the images. So long as the text isn't too long, it displays nicely.
