allow adding/editing of directory entries for non-admin users

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello, I would like to enable adding/editing of directory entries for our HR department, while not assigning them to the administrators group for obvious reasons.

In the Sitemap I assigned the View permission to the Dashboard->Staff Directory page (and all subpages underneath) for the HR user group and they can now get to the Staff Directory menu in Dashboard.
They can also click "Add New" from the View/Search submenu and fill out the desired data fields.
However, as soon as they click "Add" to actually save the entry, they get error message"You do not have permission to add a page of that type to that area of the site." Same happens when they try to edit/update an existing entry (entered by admin).

Is there a way to allow edits for these non-admin users?

Thanks
