Import via csv?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi

Is there a way of importing entries directly into the staff directory via excel or csv?

Alternately is there a back door way of doing so as a one off directly into the mysql database table?

Its just as I have around 800 people to add to start and it would be good if that could be via an import.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your module purchase! To answer your questions below:

1) There is currently not a built in method for importing records via Excel or CSV
2) You are certainly welcome to attempt that, if you're comfortable doing so. HOWEVER:
- We recommend doing a full db and code back up first.
- We recommend doing a single record import first as a proof on concept.
- The warranty will be voided, and you'd be prevented from future updates if you alter any module code, including table structure.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
- Informatics Inc.

Thanks for that.
I think the manual entry will be best.

Great Addon!
