Select which pages to add?
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi.
I love this add-on but we have came across a wee snag.
My clients site has a secure client area which we use the login redirect add-on for. These pages have the permissions set so only that user can view the page.
When my client creates a new page for this it also gets posted onto twitter... not good for a secure area!
Is it possible are are you able to add a function so we can select which pages not to add and not add? This would be very useful. At the moment we now can not use this.

New Tweeter release V1.0.6 is now available which has a custom attribute now available which you can add to pages and check the box to prevent tweeting.
Pages without the attribute will Tweet as normal

Nice simple add-on...
Unfortunately, I had an issue when installing it. When I tried to authorize the app with Twitter, the callback got a 404 because my site is not in the root and the callback URL was missing my C5 folder before the '/index.php?...'. I modified the URL in my browser by adding the folder name to it and it successfully authorized. I have had this problem with a few other add-ons that assume my C5 is installed in the root directory. I have sometimes had to hack their php and add <?php echo DIR_REL?> before the index.php in their URL construction functions to make them work. Perhaps something is wrong with my config?
Thanks for adding the attribute to select which pages to tweet but I'd actually like it to only tweet from certain blocks on certain pages. I am building a site for a sports club and I don't want to 'cry wolf' too often with 'administrative' updates but I'd like my coaches to be able to tweet some urgent news (like practice cancellations). If I could assign your tweeting function to a specific block on the page then I'd be off to the races.
Just something to think about.
Thank you for all your work on this free add-on.

That's not a bad idea, actually, adding a directory prefix attribute.
I have no idea how (un)common it is for a C5 site to be installed in a subdir. If it seems fairly common practice then I may well add a prefix attribute to the settings page in a future version.
Cheers!

Perhaps a custom attribute might be the way forward for this scenario, which, if set, would defeat the tweeting for that page.
I will look into this to see what's involved.
