Embedding block into VIEW.PHP - how to i configure it to be horizontal?

Im working on a template which has been going very well ... however ... i need to embed the Ukao Menu into view.php ... which i'm doing via code:
the problem is that the menu is showing vertically with all sub menu options displayed. what i want is it to be displayed horozontally with and when you mouse over the sub menu items are displayed
any pointers

I've sent over the details .. i've been looking at a page that works and one that does not and have noticed that the CSS calls are quite different, and it seems some are passing query parameters?
is the solution related to recreating these links and how do you do it.

One thing to keep in mind is that on the Scrapbook Page, most of the styling is not applied, so it should show up properly on your site even if it does not in the Srapbook page.
