Permalink Browser Info Environment
I just installed White Label, and it seems to work beautifully, but now I have "Powered by concrete5" listed in the header. It seems when I add my own logo, this appears. Isn't the whole point of white labeling to make the Concrete 5 less obvious? How do I get rid of that?

Hi, it depends on where that statement comes from. For example many theme developers add that sort of text in their themes. The add-on can't remove things like that, but it should be easy enough to locate in the theme.

If you wanted to send us some screen shots or a link we may be able to point you in the right direction.

Here are two different sites. One I just installed your add-on, the other is just vanilla C5. Before your add-on, that Powered by Concrete5. link was not there.

Hi. Never noticed that before, but it looks like a core behaviour when using a custom logo, not something the add-on adds.

You should be able to target and hide with CSS if you really don't want the text/link

Okay. I was able to hide that line by adding this to my theme's CSS:

div#ccm-toolbar>ul>li#ccm-white-label-message { visibility:hidden; }

I love this product and have purchased many licenses, more to come!

What I have discovered in Concrete5 8.2 - removing 'powered by concrete5' at the top left dashboard. After much experimenting on several different templates, the solution I have found is this:

Go to Page Settings/Design panel on the front end. Click Design, Theme, Customize Theme, scrolled to the bottom to Customize and enter the following:

div#ccm-toolbar>ul>li#ccm-white-label-message { visibility:hidden;
#concrete5-brand .col-sm-12 > span:first-child {
display: none;
}

It will remove the concrete5 branding on the top left. It will also remove the footer branding in many cases. Hopefully, in the next upgrade for white label, something can be worked out so we don't have to add this extra step.
