Can this addon show latest posts/popular posts for display in Sidebar?

I'd like to show latest posts / popular posts in my sidebar - is that possible with this addon?

Yep, there's an included template for showing only the latest posts, if you create a custom template you can customize it further, I'm not sure how you would show only popular posts, though, it might not be provided from the JSON plugin
