Can't get disqus comment to appear

So I've tried almost everything trying to get disqus comments to appear on my posts.
I've registered with disqus and have
shortname: nychuskies
URL:http://nychuskies.disqus.com/ (have also triedhttp://disqus.com/nychuskies)
I've enabled everything on the block and nothing appears at all. I've even installed disqus addon for wordpress (not sure if this does anything) and the addon for concrete5 to no avail. What am I missing here??

Hey so I've tried using,

Concrete5 is installed at the root of my site so there are no subfolders to access it.
Still doesn't show up however...

Does the value of the Disqus "Site URL" field match what is listed here?

and that's exactly what i put for the disqus area within the block setup but it still doesn't display anything...

Actually I got it to work, turns out I had to use cURL instead of AJAX under the transport mode. Everything's good now!
Sorry this was confusing. The "Site URL" for Disqus should be *your* address.
For example, I have "http://www.joshuagranick.com/blog/" set as my Disqus site URL.
