Forward links to the Wordpress blog

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

is it possible - e.g. by using a custom template - to forward links (like the "View comments" and "Continue reading" ones) to the original Wordpress blog instead of displaying them within the Concrete5 Wordpress block?

Btw. another issue - if I click the "Continue reading" link of a blog post, the current page is reloaded and the excerpt is shown again instead of the complete post. How can I fix this?

Best,
David

Hmm, that's strange. It should definitely show the full blog post, not the excerpt again.

Would you mind sharing a link, so I can see it?

The add-on is designed to display posts within Concrete, and not direct them to WordPress. It is possible that I might add an option for this in the future, but I'm not sure if its something most people would want.

In the meantime, you should definitely be able to "fool" the add-on by using a different signature in your "WordPress URL" than what the server provides.

For example, if your WordPress blog provides links as "http://www.mysite.com/wp", then when you setup your Concrete5 block, you could use "http://mysite.com/wp" as the WordPress URL. Since the start of both addresses don't match, it shouldn't apply the URL redirection automatically.
