how to create a blog index

Im having trouble creating a blog index like you would see in the sidebar on a blogger site, or other blogging page. I tried to use the archive function, but it just listed the month in the sidebar, and didnt show the links under it. My blog is athttp://apoprecords.com/blog
Id just like a simple index type list of old posts in the right sidebar.

I'm sorry this isn't easier. It is possible to create a WordPress Entries
block and configure it to only show titles, but when you begin paging or
filtering your main entries block, one on the side will reflect the same
as well.
You're the second person who asked about this, so I have some ideas how
the add-on could be improved to easily support this.
