wordpress plugin causes challenges with scrapbook

I use different plugins on this site:

the TC-slider plugin gets blocks from the Global Scrapbook and displays them in a slider.
I wanted to use a wordpress entry block in that slider and therefore added a wordpress entry block to the global scrapbook. Now the global scrapbook is empty in the dashboard but both blocks still show up in the slider.... this is the strangest...
any idea how this could have happened?
