LESS Compilation Error

We're trying to debug the issue people are having with packaged themes, LESS compilation and white screens. I tried to install Anitya on 5.7.0.4 and I keep getting a LESS nesting error 100 – which I believe comes from you trying to include the whole of bootstrap in your main.less. This is very much not advised. Instead, just include the mixins or variables you need from bootstrap, and include bootstrap's CSS not through LESS but just as a standard stylesheet, like Elemental does.
Also, if you have any more information about the white screens and the cache issues people are having, I'd love to hear about it.

I have isolated the issue to something within your long-shadow.less file. Please fix this and test it on a linux system (as I haven't seen the issue on OS X.)
I have the same problem on osx, how should ik fix this?
Can you comment the long-shadow rules. Take a look on the screenshot to understand :-)
Tank you to take a look at this. On bootstrap.less i only load some file, less than in main. It seems that the issue has happend on other theme than Anitya. Anyway, thank you to have take a look.
