updating

Permalink Browser Info Environment
In March 2021 I bought 3x the casual theme V.1.1.7 for 3 sites. I now need to update these sites to meet PHP requirements and one (with some effort) succeeded to 9.1.3
Should I also update the theme now? I can no longer access the community via the site where I purchased it, so I cannot find the license terms.
Can it just keep working with version 1.1.7?
(It's working at the moment)

Hi deb3708,

You can update your casual theme to the latest version which is casual 2.0.0 that is compatible with PHP8+ version. Also before you update do not forget to back up your current before updating the theme.

As for your concern for the community access for the license of the theme, you can disconnect and reconnect to the community marketplace to see if your license is still there for the purchase.

Let me know if this helps.

Best regards,
Neil

is it necessary to update the casual theme? At the moment it works fine.

I can go to the community, but it no longer shows what I have purchased and whether I have licenses for it.

If I want to update the casual theme (3x), do I have to pay again?

Hi Deb.

I'm not sure why this ticket doesn't appear to have a reply - but for clarity - you do not need to purchase additional licenses to update as all updates are free.
