I would like to know how to have a page type as in your demo:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will get this fixed in the theme. For now, go to Dashboard->Pages and Themes. Then click on Page Types and Add a Page Type named Right Sidebar with the handle right_sidebar. Then you should be able to go back to the page and select the Right Sidebar page type and everything should layout fine.

Great! I have updated the theme to include the right_sidebar.php page type template.
Do I have to update the package or everything is fine like this?
No real need to update but you can if you want.
