Slow and sluggish scrolling on Firefox

I noticed that the scrolling is very slow and sluggish on Firefox although it's okay on Safari and Chrome. Does anyone know why, and how to fix this?

I use firefox for PC and Mac and havent seen any issues (or heard of anyone else with this issue). Could it be the file size of your background image I mentioned in your other post?
