[Resolved] Update 1.4

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

I notice that there was a new update 1.4 when I browsed concrete5.org.

Why in my dashboard of Concrete website it didn't tell me about this update?

How should I update manually to this new update?

Thanks.

Did you install the theme manually originally? If so, it wont show that it has an update. But to update it manually simply upload the new theme_clearview files and overwrite your old ones. Then, if you go to Dashboard->Add Functionality you should see a message on the right hand side under Updates saying you have an update. Click the Update Addons button. Then click the Update button for the Clearview Theme.

Yeah I did it manually.
So I did what you said and it's almost perfect;
The link "Top" in the footer (right side) doesn't react anymore.

What should I do?

Thanks.

Hum...
There was some modifications in:
main.css
print.css
typography.css

But I don't remember what exactly.
Perharps, this is why the "top" link doesn't work anymore.
It's somewhere in one of these, but which one and where?

Please Chris, what should I do? I'm a zero+ in those things ;-)

Thanks.

I deleted all my modified CSS files and uploaded only those of the update and I'm still having the same problem:
"Top" link in the footer doesn't work at all.

I still need your help and a solution.

Another thing:
When there's a Page-List on a page, it highlight the page name on which the user is on;
BUT with the Auto-Nav, it highlight the page name on which it is and ALSO the sub-pages under! It wasn't like this before. It should only highlight the page on which the user is on, not all the others under it (see the attached file).

I still need your help on these 2 matters (Top link and Auto-Nav).

ymne,
Sorry for the delayed response. I was on vacation and am just getting to all my emails. Can you send me a link to your site so I can take a look and get these resolved for you.

Thanks!

I'm going in vacation tomorrow. Hope you did have some rest through all your occupation?

Ok. It's everywhere, 'cause it's about the link "Haut" (french word of Top) in all the footer of the Theme (www.soustesailes.com). It is at the bottom right of each pages.

Thanks.

It was a bug in the return to top link. Attached is a new footer.php file with the fix. I will put this fix into the next release. Thanks for finding it.
About the nav thing. Can you give me a link to that page in your screenshot. I couldnt find it on the site.

On line 269 of the main.css file change this:
#sidebar ul.nav li.nav-selected a, #sidebar ul.nav li.nav-path-selected a

to this:
#sidebar ul.nav li a.nav-selected, #sidebar ul.nav li a.nav-path-selected

I think that should fix it. Let me know.

I did what you indicate and now there is no highlight at all. It get rid of it but it need to keep the good one ;-)
(see the attached file)

Maybe if you just give me the corrections that you've made in version 1.4, then probably I can figure out. 'Cause in the version 1.3 it was working fine.

Are you sure you changed line 269 in main.css to this:
#sidebar ul.nav li a.nav-selected, #sidebar ul.nav li a.nav-path-selected

That's what it should be to fix it.

Yep, it's already like you wrote.

See by yourself with the attached file

No, it hasnt been changed. Both the attached main.css file and the main.css file that's live on your site dont have the corrected line.

This line:
#sidebar ul.nav li.nav-selected, #sidebar ul.nav li.nav-path-selected

Needs to be changed to this:
#sidebar ul.nav li a.nav-selected, #sidebar ul.nav li a.nav-path-selected
