Template not working as expected

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Changing over from one of the standard C5 templates ahead of Google delisting my site because the template isn't mobile friendly.

Site is on 5.5.2.1, but when I change the design of the page to cobalt and format the header nav to use the TopNav design I get an error message like this...

Fatal error: Call to undefined method AutonavBlockController::getNavItems() in /home/..../..../...,/packages/cobalt/blocks/autonav/templates/topnav.php on line 2

It has done this on two of my sites. If I save the page with the error code showing the site breaks. Page only shows the error message. Not even the editing tool bar. Have to manually navigate to the dashboard and change the design back to the original template to make it work again.

I'm not 100% sure of this but I seem to recall this was an error that appears on older C5 versions. I think the minimum version for Cobalt is 5.6.x. Can you upgrade the site?
