New Block Under Navigation Bar

I love your theme, it really is great! Just wanted to know if we can add the ability to put a block under the navigation bar but above the first white content box. Is there a way I can add that my self? I'm wanting to add an image/product list slider there the full width of the page.

I added a new version 0.9.7 that has a new page type "home alternative",
it has the future you want, full width box under the navigation.

I don't know if you know this or not but after the second update you made the logo no longer shows up on the navigation bar when on a mobile device. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
do you have ftp access to your server to change the files?
