Extending the header?

Hi, Sorry if this has been covered else where, however I am new to concrete5 and have just purchased this template to re-do my current website and after looking everywhere, can't seem to find an answer....
I'm wanting to extend the area in the header if possible?
Do I need to edit code (I have limited knowledge with this) or is there a setting that I need to change in the Dashboard?

Thanks for the reply David. I ended up reinstalling the theme again after clearing the cache and it seems to have rectified the problem I was having. It would have been something I was doing wrong though. It is working fine now.

The header in Elegancia should resize to fit your content, if you have a fairly large logo the header should push down to accommodate, is that not happening on your site?
