Dynamic Call To Action Side by Side

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hey Chaps,

The footer you guys have on your site (foundation.formigo.co.uk) is fantastic. Watching that thing change while you make your browser window narrower is a true testament to the power of foundation.

I know we can do the same right off the bat on the footer. However, I would love to make the same thing on the header.

What I did was add 4 columns and a 'Call to Action' block to each column, however the columns stay side to side instead of changing to a vertical stance (like the footer). Please see attached.

I just realised that what I am trying to achieve is what you guys have done with the 'Pricing Tables'; side by side panes that transform to a vertical stance on mobile.

Any tips on this?

Thank you :)

Hi there,

Unfortunately the concrete5 layout tool is not responsive so you will not be able to create the layout you want in this way.

I believe this is something concrete5 may be looking at for the release of concrete5.7 but that may be some time off.

The only advice I can offer here is that you would need to create this type of layout in the actual code of the theme. Doing so would mean editing theme files; something we can not support, sorry.

As a pointer. If you look in the footer file of the theme, you may be able to replicate some of the code; changing the area names...

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,

Last question about this; how did you guys get three 'Pricing Tables' side to side?

Ta!

Hey Pablo,

When you add the pricing table, select 'third' from the table width option in the blocks add/edit interface. Create 3 of these and that it.

Cheers
