Images in columns don't center

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Exploring the possible use of this template for a client, and am building a sample few pages for review. On the home page, I am unable to get the images to center in the individual columns. Now I figure I can resize the images so they fit the column width, which is fine, but I would like the option to use the images as they currently are – I don't want to do any more work than is necessary since this is a demo. I have done the following:

1. Used the image block and selected "center"
2. Used the image block and selected "center" in Design properties
3. Used the image block and added "text-center" in Design properties
4. Placed an image in a content box, used the center command in toolbar
5. Placed an image in a content box, used the center command in picture settings
6. Placed an image in a content box, and selected "center" in Design properties
7. Placed an image in a content box, and added "text-center" in Design properties
