Theme customisation

Permalink Browser Info Environment
When I use the customise theme option to change the themes top nav bar colours the settings are not saved.

How would i modify a theme that comes as a package - can i copy and modify the Foundation_5 folder in the theme folder?

Hi Rich,

When you make a change to the customisation page you must refresh your browser window when viewing the site to see any changes.

I don't believe you can modify a theme in this way. Look at this thread -https://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/change-th... it says themes can not be overridden in this way. Probably just worth making a back up of original files and then modify in the package.

Thanks
Andy

Hi,

"When I use the customise theme option to change the themes top nav bar colours the settings are not saved."

Yes, same thing here. This issue should be addressed.

Editing the .css is not optimal...

Please fix.

Hi there,

I think you may have misread above.

This is not an issue in the theme. You update the customtize page and then navigate back to the site and refresh your page; you will see the changes.

The reference to editing the files is in regards to something else.

Please confirm the above works... if not then we will look at it not a problem

Thanks
Andy

Hi again.

Just looking st this now. It looks like some of the customization options in the latest package are actually not working as intended.

We are working on a fix now and will have a new version today.

Hopefully with a couple of extra goodies ;)

Thanks

Hey Guys,

Just uploaded Foundation 1.0.1 which has fixes for the customization options plus a few extra options.

We have also included a new 'Buttons' block, so enjoy.

Thanks
Andy
