Backgaround of Navigation Bar

How can I the change the background of the Navigation Bar and submenu Navigation from Black to Grey? (In the beginning this Color is transparent but it changes to black once you scroll futher down ). I tried changing some setting under the customization of the theme Framework but could find the right one.
Could there be a problem due to the fact that I installed the theme on Concrete Version 5.xxx and now updated to Concrete5 Version 8.2.1.?

Yes with the settings I can change the background Color from black to grey, but when I scroll down the page, the navigation bar gets smaller (which is what I want) and get a black background (which I would like to change if possible)

I see what you mean. To be able to change that, we need to modify it via custom CSS. If you are alright with that. I can help you create one.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I'll be mindful of the tickets I juggle around from now on.
Anyway, I played around with the theme customization and changing colors can be done through there. I've attached a screenshot. Dont forget to move the little slider to the solid part (the little slider below the gradient color picker). That sets the transparency.

I think the version you are running the theme on is working correctly.
To change the header background, you need to go to the color customization panel (settings > design > color customization). Find background under the header category. Change black to grey. :)
